Speed networking has been requested more than once in the AWE community, and we love the idea! AWE Network is all about making new connections across our community of artists, environmental professionals and community organizers. Come for a night of person-to-person connections about what's inspiring us. Bring your curiosity and a kernel to share and we'll facilitate the rest.

AWE Network gatherings are casual and informal, so don't sweat the details, just be sure to show up! If you are new to "networking" here are some conversation starters.
What are you reading/making/doing that's driving your work forward at the intersection of art, water, ecology and community?
What are you a subject matter expert in?
Any questions you have and need answers to?
Props can help conversations along. Bring along an item to talk or ask about - an example of your art or an unknown lichen for example.
Don't forget flyers and business cards to leave on the AWE Connections Table.

Accessibility/Parking/Transit Details: There is limited parking available in the MWMO lot. Overflow parking is available on the street in the surrounding neighborhood. Please do not park in Tony Jaros’ lot next door. (See details in map link above.)
Cost and Refreshments: Attendance is free. Please RSVP to help us plan, though it’s no problem to attend last minute without an RSVP. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.

About our host -- MWMO
The Mississippi Watershed Management Organization (MWMO) works to protect and improve water quality, habitat and natural resources in an urban watershed that drains directly into the Mississippi River.
We'll meet at the MWMO Stormwater Park and Learning Center where you can walk to the river's edge and also see artist Shoshana Fink's new installation A Gathering of Waters.
