Bring it! Summer Potluck and AWE Talks
As May comes to a close, summer is upon us with all its endless activity. We invite you to bring yourself, a snack to share, and your best stories for a unique night of community sharing and learning.
You are already doing the work of AWE- making space for art, water, ecology and community in myriad ways through your work. AWE members want to hear from each other, so we are turning the floor over to YOU for a night of short presentations "PechaKucha" style.
What is an AWE Talk?
An AWE talk is a your chance to share your expertise, experience, successes and failures with your professional community. Think out of the box and have fun with storytelling. Let us in on your secret expertise on carp espionage, lead us on a short dive into the history of land art, or throw down a mini-presentation about a project you've developed.
AWE Talks will take the form of PechaKucha (Japanese for chit-chat), a storytelling format in which a presenter shows 10-20 slides for 20 seconds per slide. This limitation challenges you to choose a narrow topic to share about through visually engaging slides. The format allow us to make room for 10-15 members to take the stage.
Please indicate on your RSVP if you are interested in this opportunity to get your name out there with the AWE community. Don't hesitate to sign up with your idea, we will follow up with details to support you. Also, there may be party prizes for bravery.

Attendance is free. We invite you to bring a snack or drink to share for this potluck-style AWE gathering. Please RSVP using the pink button to help us plan, though it’s no problem to attend last minute without an RSVP.
